The 'Open registrations' screen (Invoicing > Open registrations) provides an overview of all recorded activities that have not yet been added to an invoice(proposal). Here, you can filter, view details, and directly add registrations to an invoice proposal.
In the upper-right corner of the screen, you'll find a summary of open registrations. The totals adjust automatically based on the selected filters:
- Total amount: The total value of recorded activities within open registrations.
- Total billable: The amount from open registrations that can be invoiced.
- Total hours: The total number of hours within open registrations.

Searching and filtering in 'Open registrations'
When reviewing and managing open registrations, you can apply filters to refine your search results.
Standard filters in open registrations
- Relation: Search for and select a specific relation
- Type: Filter open registrations by relation type (Company, Sole proprietor, Person)
- Legal forms: Narrow the results based on specific business structures
- Status: Filter by the relation's status (Customer, Prospect, Own company)
- From - Until: Display only open registrations within a specific period
- Invoice schedules: Select open registrations based on a particular invoice schedule
- Registered by: Filter by the user who created the registration
- Own companies: Limit the view to registrations for a specific own company
- Price list item: Search for registrations linked to a specific item from the price list
- Assignment template: Filter registrations based on the assignment template used
Additional filters under 'More filters' in open registrations
Click on 'More Filters' to access additional filter options and refine your search. Available filters include:
- Assistant: Filter open registrations by the assistant from the relations profile
- Assistant (backup): View open registrations where a specific user is assigned as an assistant backup
- Assistant invoicing: Filter by the user responsible for invoicing
- Assistant senior: Filter open registrations where a specific senior assistant is assigned
- Assistant associate: View open registrations for relations linked to a specific associate
- Assistant responsible: Filter relations where a specific user has been designated as assistant responsible
- Ref. year: Limit the list to open registrations for a specific reference year
- Relation groups: Filter open registrations by specific relation groups
- Show only active relations: Hide open registrations for inactive relations
- Tags (with and without): Show only open registrations that have (or do not have) specific tags
- VAT periodicity: Filter open registrations based on VAT submission frequency
Saving and resetting search filters
Save a search
Apply the desired filter(s) and click 'Save search criteria' to store frequently used filters for quick reuse later.
Access saved searches
Your saved searches are always accessible via the filter bar, allowing you to easily switch between different filter settings.
Reset filters
Click 'Reset Filters' to clear all active filters and restore the full overview.
Open registrations table
The lower part of the 'Open Registrations' screen displays outstanding registrations based on the selected filters. The open registrations are grouped by relation, making it easy to see at a glance the total outstanding amount and hours.
Want to review the details of open registrations per relation? Click the small downward triangle . This expands the view to reveal full details per registration, including date, employee, rate, amount, billable status, and whether it is included or excluded from a fixed amount/advance.

Export to Excel
Click the 'Export to Excel' button in the middle of the screen to download an overview of the open registrations per relation as an Excel file.
Actions per relation line
At the end of each relation line in the overview table, you will find several action buttons:
- Make invoice proposal: Convert open registrations into a new invoice proposal.
- Add to invoice proposal: If an invoice proposal already exists, use this button to add registrations to that proposal.
- Open invoice proposal: Once 'Make invoice proposal' or 'Add to invoice proposal' is used, this button changes to 'Open invoice proposal,' allowing you to go directly to the Invoicing > Invoice proposals screen with the correct relation already selected.
- Show invoice history: Access an overview of invoicing information, including invoiced amounts, invoice proposals, and the applied invoicing schedule.
- Show in overview: Open these open registrations in the Overview screen (Registrations > Overview) to apply the batch operations available there.
Actions per individual registration
- Add to invoice proposal: Add an individual open registration to an existing invoice proposal.
- Edit: Modify the open registrations details, such as date, assignment, or amount.
- Never invoice registration: Indicate that this open registration should never be invoiced. It can only be viewed or invoiced later if necessary via the registration Overview.
- Remove registration: Permanently remove the registration.
Batch operations in 'Open registrations'
Want to process multiple open registrations at once to save time?
- Select one or more relations using the checkbox at the beginning of the row or at the top of the overview table
.
- Click 'Batch operations' and choose the desired action.
Batch operation: Add to invoice proposal
With the batch operation 'Add to invoice proposal,' you can add all selected open registrations to an invoice proposal at once. This speeds up the invoicing process and prevents the need to process each registration individually.
