Does your office use an integration with IonBiz or Yuki? Then you have access to the Synchronizations screen in AdminPulse.
On this screen, you can track synchronization errors between AdminPulse and the connected application. You can see which synchronization failed, for which entity, and which error message belongs to it.
In this article, you will learn how to open the synchronization overview, which filters and columns are available, and what you can do when there is a synchronization error.
How do you open the synchronization overview?
Click the server icon at the top right of the navigation bar. You will find it next to the notification bell.
At the top of the page, open the Synchronizations tab.
What do you see in the synchronization overview?
The Synchronizations screen is only available if your office uses an integration with IonBiz or Yuki. It is divided into two parts. At the top, you see the filter bar, which you can use to refine the list further. At the bottom, you see the table with synchronization errors between AdminPulse and the connected application. Each row in that table represents one synchronization error.
The list loads 50 errors at a time. Scroll down to see more errors.
👉 Which items you see in the Synchronizations screen depends on your permissions.
- Do you have permission to view settings (standard roles: Administrator, Full user and Invoice user)? Then you will see all synchronizations for your office.
- If you do not have those permissions, you will only see the synchronizations that you started yourself.
💡 Synchronization errors only appear in this overview. You do not receive a separate notification or pop-up for them in AdminPulse.
Which filters can you use?
Above the overview table, you will find a filter bar with the following filters:
- From / Until – Enter a date range to filter by the creation date.
- Period – Use the shortcuts to quickly select a period, such as Today, This week or This month. Click All if you do not want to apply a date filter.
- Created by – Filter by the user or process that started the synchronization.
- Search relation – Filter by a specific relation.
- Sync type – Filter by the type of synchronization.
Use the Reset filters button to return all filters to their default values.
Which columns do you see?
The overview shows the following columns:
- Connected application – The external application that was synchronized with, for example IonBiz or Yuki.
- Sync type – The type of synchronization that was performed, for example Sync document.
- Created by – The user or process that started the synchronization.
- Created on – The date and time when the synchronization took place.
-
Entity – The object that was synchronized, such as a document, relation, or registration. You can click it to open the item directly.
- Relation – The relation linked to the synchronized entity.
- Errors – The error message linked to a failed synchronization.
What do you do when there is a synchronization error?
Do you see a synchronization error? First check the error message in the Errors column and solve the underlying cause in AdminPulse or in the connected application.
Once the cause has been resolved and the entity is successfully synchronized again later, the old error disappears automatically from the synchronization overview.
You usually do not need to remove the error yourself. Still want to remove the error message manually? You can do that via the bin icon on the right side of the row. You will first get a confirmation message before the error is permanently removed.
👉 By removing the synchronization error, you only clear the error message from the overview. The synchronization itself is not started again.
See the synchronization overview mainly as a tool to find the cause of a synchronization error. In most cases, you solve the problem at the source. The error then disappears on its own after the next successful synchronization.
💡 You cannot start a synchronization again from this overview. There is no retry button available.
