In AdminPulse, you can indicate in your task templates which task templates are available as common tasks. This means they are standard tasks that will apply to the majority of your relations.
For a relation without task planning, you can add those common tasks with a single click. This means you do not have to select them one by one.
In this article, you will read how to set up common tasks in AdminPulse via task templates, how to add them to a relation and how to remove a task template from the common tasks again.
How do you set up common tasks?
In Settings > Task templates, you decide which task templates are available as common tasks. Follow these steps to set a task template as a common task:
- Go to Settings > Task templates
- Expand the task template that you want to set as a common task.
- Select the Common task option in the left column
If you want to remove a task template from the common tasks, open that same task template again and clear the Common task option. This only affects the selection list for future additions; existing task planning in relations stays unchanged.
💡 When you add a new task template, this option is already selected by default.
How do you add common tasks to a relation all at once?
Follow these steps to add common tasks to a relation:
- Go to Relation files > Relations and open the relation to which you want to add the common tasks.
- In the relation file, go to Task management > Task scheduling.
- Click Add common task schedules.
👉 The Add common task schedules button is only available if no task planning has been created yet for that relation. -
AdminPulse shows an overview of the common task schedules that will be added. In that overview, you can still:
- adjust the task schedule
- adjust the schedule start or schedule stop
- remove a task schedule via the bin icon so that it is not added to this relation
- Click Save to add the common task schedules. After saving, the first task is planned immediately.
💡 In addition to the Common task checkbox, AdminPulse also takes the Person, Sole proprietor, and Company checkboxes into account. For a relation of the type Person, only the common task templates are added for which both Person and Common task are selected.
