AdminPulse offers several ways to send emails to your contacts. Below, we'll explain two options step by step.
How to send an email via AdminPulse
Option 1: Sending emails directly from within AdminPulse
Within AdminPulse, you can easily create and send emails. You have two choices:
- Using email templates: Pre-written emails you can send quickly
- Draft emails: Write your own message from scratch
Option 2: Sending emails using your default email program
Sometimes, AdminPulse gives the option of sending an email through the default email program set up on your computer.
Troubleshooting email problems
If you choose to send emails via your default email program, but nothing happens or the wrong program opens when you click on an envelope, don't worry! Just follow these steps to set up the correct email program:
- Open the Windows Search (or press Windows key + S) and type "default apps" in the search bar
- Click on 'Default apps'
- In the window that appears, check which program is currently set for each function. Find 'Mail' and click on the program shown to select a (new) default
Which emailing option opens when you click the envelope icon?
The envelope icon next to an email address in AdminPulse can lead to either of the two options mentioned above, depending on its location.
Email via AdminPulse:
- Relation files > Relations > Envelope icon next to an email address in the overview table
- Relation file of a contact > Communication Timeline > "Send Email" button in the left sidebar
Email via your default email program:
- Relation file of a contact > Communication section > Communication channels > Envelope icon next to the email
- Relation file of a contact > Top left of the overview > Envelope icon next to the email address
