Adding tasks
Tasks can get to the task board in one of two ways. Either they are created by the Task scheduling or they are added manually through the button bottom left of the task board.
In the dialog you can enter the values for the properties. In the Task name field, you can choose one of the existing Task templates or you can enter anything to create your own task from scratch.
Click Add to add the task to the task board.
Adding subtasks
Click ‘+’ to add a subtask to the task board.
The new subtask emerges immediately, with the same deadline as the main task:
Modifying subtasks
Click on the name (New task) to open the dialog with all the details. Click on the details you want to change and finally on Save to save your changes. The user to whom the task is assigned to can be changed without opening the dialog. The status is changed by dragging the subtask to another column.
Modifying tasks
Modifying tasks is done in the same way. The status and the user the task is assigned to, can be changed directly in the task, without opening the modal.
Tip: The status of a main task changes automatically with the dragging the subtasks, but vice versa, all subtasks are put in ‘Done’ when you set the main task to that status.
Tip: Changing the deadline of a subtask has no effect on the deadline of the main task, but if you change the deadline of the main task, the deadlines of all subtasks are modified equally.
Deleting a task
Tip: When a main task is deleted, all its subtasks are deleted as well. This action cannot be undone. However, you can’t delete a task when there are subtasks still In progress.
To delete a task, you hover the mouse pointer over the top right-hand corner of the task. Click on the three dots that appear and select Delete.

Block and unblock a subtask
If work on a subtask cannot be continued, you can show this by blocking it.
The subtask will get a red accent and a blocked road sign will be displayed. If you like, you can note the reason of the blocking in the comment field (in the dialog for Modifying subtasks).
Unblocking the subtask can be done the same way, but more easily by dragging it to another status column.
Filtering tasks and search
When opening the task board, the planned tasks are ordered by their deadline status. In the panel on top is an overview of the tasks state regarding their deadline.
Click on one of the numbers to see only these tasks.
Tasks can be filtered more in detail on relation, user, task and/or status. Add filter criteria in the inputs in the bottom part of the panel. To return to the full list, click on ‘Reset filters’.
With these filters, it is possible to quickly find a specific task.
