AdminPulse provides an intuitive task management system through the Task board and task planning.
The Task board (Tasks > Task board) gives you an overview of your tasks that need to be finalized. Each task contains the following details:
- Task name: A clear and concise description of the task.
- Deadline: The latest date by which the task should be completed.
-
Status: The progress of the task, displayed in three columns:
- To do: Tasks that have not yet been started.
- In progress: Tasks currently being worked on.
- Done: Completed tasks.
- Relation: The task is associated with a specific client or entity.
- Assignee: The task can be assigned to a specific user.
- Subtasks: Tasks can be split into smaller, manageable subtasks (optional).
The progress of subtasks can be easily managed by dragging them across the status columns To do, In progress, and Done.
💡 There are different types of subtasks, each with unique characteristics and behaviors.
Which tasks are displayed on the Task board by default?
By default, the Task board displays the following tasks:
- Tasks with a future deadline.
- Tasks where the status is not 'Done'.
This allows you to see at a glance what still needs to be done. If needed, additional tasks, such as those done and with past deadlines, can be made visible through filters (see Overview: Task board – filtering, searching, and managing tasks).
💡 Want a global overview of all your tasks? Use the Dashboard (Tasks > Dashboard) or the Task overview (Tasks > Task overview).
Status colors and sorting
The Task board uses color codes to highlight critical deadlines:
- Yellow: The deadline is approaching.
- Red: The deadline has already passed.
Tasks are sorted by urgency by default. Tasks with a closer deadline automatically appear at the top of the list, providing a clear overview of your work and priorities.
