In this article, you will learn how to send emails in bulk through tasks in AdminPulse. For this, you use subtasks of the type E-mail.
You can send the email and set the corresponding subtask to Done in the same operation. You can do this for an individual task from the Task board or for multiple relations at once from the Task overview.
👉 To use this method, a task containing a subtask of the type E-mail must be scheduled for each relevant relation.
Send emails in bulk through tasks
Example: the steps below use the PIT task. The same procedure applies to any task containing an email subtask, regardless of the task’s name or purpose.
Step 1 – Go to the Task overview
Go to Tasks > Task overview and select the PIT task. If you use multiple PIT templates, repeat these steps for each template.
Step 2 – Select the tasks
Select the tasks for which you want to perform the email subtask. In this example, the email requests documents from the relations.
Use the checkbox in the top-left corner to select all tasks at once.
Step 3 – Change the subtask status
Click Batch operations and select Change subtask status. This option becomes available once you have selected at least one task.
Select the following settings in the dialog:
- Select the email subtask Request documents.
- Set the status to Done.
- Select Send e-mail.
Step 4 – Review the email template
The default email template linked to the task template opens. Edit the content if necessary.
Step 5 – Send the emails
Click OK to send the emails. AdminPulse sets the subtask to Done for all selected tasks and sends the emails to the corresponding relations.
Track the sending progress
You can track the progress and results of the sending operation from the Batch Jobs screen. Open this screen using the following button in the top menu bar:
